  • Memory Harbour is a small business built on personal care, human communication, and affordable pricing. We believe preserving memories should feel simple, personal, and accessible. Unlike large automated companies, every order is handled with individual attention and thoughtful organization from start to finish. We are also flexible and collaborative, and we’re happy to work with you to find options that fit your budget.

  • Yes. Your precious memories are handled with the utmost care and respect throughout the entire process. We carefully organize, scan, and protect every item as if it were our own.

  • You can send flat artwork, oversized artwork, 3D artwork, photos, greeting cards, documents, and other special keepsakes you would like digitized. If you are unsure whether we can digitize an item, please feel free to contact us at info@memoryharbour.com. We typically respond within 2 hours during regular business hours.

  • We recommend stacking flat items neatly and placing delicate or fragile pieces between protective layers such as carboard or tissue paper. If you are sending 3D artwork or fragile keepsakes, please wrap them carefully to help prevent damage during shipping.

  • No. You are welcome to send items as they are. However, if you items are already grouped by category or year, we will do our best to maintain that organization in your digital folders.

  • Yes. Your digital memories will be organized into folders based on how your items were packed and categorized, making them easy to browse and share.

  • Your completed digital files will be delivered electronically through and organized digital folder link sent to your provided email.

    You may also purchase a USB thumb drive with your order, and we will ship your digital files back to you on the USB for an additional $15

  • Yes. Every image recieves basic color correction and lighting adjustments to help preserve and improve the appearance of your memories.

  • In many cases, yes. We often digitize older or lightly damaged photos and documents. If you are unsure about a specific item, please contact us before shipping.

  • No problem! Your final invoice is based on the total number and type of items processed, so you are welcome to include additional items if space allows.

  • Yes! If your collection is too large for a Memory Harbour box, you may safely pack and ship your own box instead.

  • Current turnaround times are approximately 4-6 weeks from the time your items arrive at Memory Harbour.

    Here is a general timeline:

    • Memory Harbour boxes ship within 1-2 business days after your order is placed. (This is if you purchase one of our boxes to fill.)

    • Scanning, photography, and editing are completed within the 4-6 week turnaround window after we receive your items.

    • Your final invoice is typically sent within 1-2 business days after processing is complete

      invoices are based on the number of items scanned, along with any additional services requested (i.e. rush processing, return shipping for original items.)

    • Your digital memories will be sent to the provided email during the same day as final payment received during our regular business hours. (Mon-Fri 9am-4pm (MGT-7)) If payment is received after our regular business hours, the email will be sent the next business day.

    Turn around times may vary throughout the year. Our busiest months are typically May and November - December, which may result in slightly longer processing times.

  • Yes. There is a section in the questionnaire where you can let us know if your order has a specific deadline.

    Rush processing may be available for an additional fee. Please note that rush availability and pricing vary depending on the season. Out busiest times are May and November-December, and rush fees may increase during those months.

  • Yes. We are happy to return your original artwork and keepsakes after digitizing. Return shipping costs will simply be added to your final invoice.

  • High-quality JPEG files will be delivered to your email you provide while filling out the questionnaire. Documents are delivered as PDF files.

  • Memory Harbour boxes are $20 to ship to you, plus the cost of return shipping once your box is ready to send back. You may also request a prepaid shipping label from us.

    Scanning prices start at:

    • Artwork 8×10 inches and smaller: $0.20 per image

    • Photo prints 8×10 inches and smaller: $0.10 per image

    • Greeting Cards: $0.15 per card

  • We can scan or photograph oversized items too. Oversized and specialty items start at $0.75 per image.

  • Digital files are temporarily stored after delivery for backup purposes for 3 months. We recommend downloading and backing up your files as soon as you receive them.

  • We accept secure online payments through our invoicing system. Additional options are available through PayPal and Venmo at this time.

  • We strongly recommend using tacked and insured shipping whenever sending irreplaceable memories or keepsakes. If you request a prepaid shipping label through Memory Harbour, tracking information will be included. Additional shipping insurance may also be available upon request.

  • While we handle every order with extreme care, Memory Harbour is not responsible for damage caused during transit to or from our studio. We recommend packaging fragile items carefully and using insured shipping for valuable or irreplaceable items.

  • Due to the custom and time-intensive nature of digitizing services, refunds are generally not available once scanning or processing has begun.

  • Orders may be canceled before your box has shipped or before processing begins. Once scanning or editing work has started, cancellations may no longer be possible.

  • We understand that larger collections can sometimes add up quickly. If your final invoice is higher than expected, please reach out to us. As a small business, we are happy to communicate and work with you.

    Depending on the situation, we may be able to discuss options such as partial processing, splitting large projects into phases, or arranging a payment plan for larger orders.
